FreshBooks, the online invoicing software for small businesses, has introduced a new feature that will make many frustrated business professionals jump for joy.
You can now attach expense receipts as PDFs to your FreshBooks invoices. This might not seem like that big of a deal, until you realize how often you receive email receipts in PDF form (Ie. flight, car rental, conference ticket, hotel) or scan a paper receipt.
The ability to attach expenses to FreshBooks invoices was introduced in April, but it only included expense receipts in .png, .jpg and .gif file formats.
The nice part about attaching expense receipts to invoices within FreshBooks is that the image of the receipt is available for the client to view online or is printed and sent via FreshBook’s snail mail (regular postal mail) invoicing option.
