The startup life may seem glamorous, especially after Facebook was immortalized in the ‘The Social Network and Bravo created a reality TV series called Start-Ups: Silicon Valley, but the first few years can be far from it. Coding all hours of the day, sleeping 5 hours a night (I can personally relate to this one with Firmology), eating ramen noodles for every meal, and taking countless meetings with customers, investors and business partners can take a beating on you. That’s why technology industry veteran, Jon Ferrara, decided to create a program to help nurture young startups. The Nimble Founder and CEO is giving his social CRM platform away for free to tech startups.

The freebie consists of a 2-user premium version of Nimble with 100GBs of additional storage, which is an $1800 value. Of course, there are a couple of catches. The startup has to be backed by one of 50 accelerators including TechStars, Y Combinator, DEMO, LaunchPad LA, and Global Accelerator Network. Interested startups can check out the partial list within Nimble’s blog post or email them at email@example.com. The second catch is that Nimble is using the program to learn from emerging tech startups and encourage them to become a Nimble integration partner.
That’s a small price to pay for a fledging startup getting free access to Nimble’s powerful social relationship management software.
