While Salesforce focuses on promoting Dreamforce, and giving away 24 free tickets to businesses that enter and win their Surfboard Sales Awards, Box is focusing on its own customer conference, BoxWorks 2014. The event is being held on September 2-4 in San Francisco and will feature keynote speakers such as Box Founder and CEO Aaron Levie and LinkedIn’s CEO Jeff Weiner.

While early bird tickets cost $699, Box just announced on its blog that developers can get their tickets for $150 using the promo code: boxworks14dev. The conference will include several technical sessions to help devs learn more about building software on the Box Platform.

Just as Dreamforce is known for its musical acts, BoxWorks is not to be outdone. Their after party will include a performance by a live band, which hasn’t been announced yet. Past bands include: Weezer and Blink 182.
